I learned the other day that my 61 year old computer illiterate mother has a blog.  I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, just about everyone has a web log these days.  There is a blog topic for anything you can possibly imagine, not to mention thousands of subjects you haven’t even considered before.
If you had told me ten years ago that I could make a living by writing on the Internet all day, I would have called you insane, and yet here I am in 2008 making about 60% of my income from doing exactly that.  As a professional Blogger I am about to break some rules by offering you a few simple tips that have helped me to earn a respectable income from online blogs.
A good writer can find work all over the Internet writing about topics and subject matter that is important to them.  Would you believe that I get paid to write articles about tomato gardening?  It shocked me too.  The only trick involved is really just in knowing how to use a search engine.

Google’s Adsense program is another way to boost your online blog income.  When you sign up for the service, you have the ability to create ad campaigns based on keywords that you choose.  In turn, the Adsense code you insert on your page will dynamically produce advertising content that is relevant to your readers and when they click on the ads, you make money.
